Mother of Pearl Oyster Mushroom

Mother of Pearl Oyster are a staple for our winter loving varieties. Known for it’s blue color this mushroom has thick, large and meaty caps and keeps it’s shape well when cooked in a variety of methods. Blues have a mild flavor with mild texture caps and more texture in the stems. One of our favorite mushrooms to grow due to their amazingly beautiful colors and hues of blue. This mushroom has become popular for making a great vegan fried foods as in, “chicken” fried steak.
